well about an hour ago i get a call from my customer complaining about some kind of noise comming from his BMW 650i. he was comming back to give me a ride so i can hear the noise. ok, were going for a ride! the faster he went, the louder the banging/knocking sound was. i just collected 500 bucks. :(
we get back in front of my place & he asks me to get out & look at his wheels as he rolls foward, then backwords...

i guess someone was looking out for me tonight? whatever the case, ill take it!

lesson learned, must check tires for balls of masking tape before leaving the garage!

this is a good customer of mine. i do his car 2 or 3 times a year. it was just one of those moments where you start to worry about your reputation. we laughed about it afterwords but now i will be checking tires before anything leaves lol.
maybe its time to break a bad habbit of mine? i make balls of tape & throw them under the car to "sweep them later". :wall :lmfao
 
I usually find little balls of tape on the bottom of my shoes. I make the balls and toss them in the corner too. When mobile, though, I have to be diligent about cleaning up when I'm done. Then I get home and find balls of tape mixed through all my supplies.:(
 
Hahaha! That's classic! I'll have to be sure and check for this now as I tend to leave tape balls laying around too. :D
