That was really interesting, I wouldn't have thought it possible.

It does two things for me.....

1. renews my faith in miracles

2. makes becoming proficient with a rotary even more desirable.

Pepe - the rotary is a tool you must master! I love it and it is my weapon of choice on just about every single car. I learned how to wet-sand and compound before I got into detailing.

The gentleman looked familiar,iirc and this was after you mention he is a member from MOL..I though i seen pics using this same process on a Red Mustang he did for his neighbor..The link shows a more realistic pics..

Granted, it is a single stage paint, they clean up like gems. But it does demonstrate to the newer detailers what is possible once you get serious about this business.
