Not bad. 84 Toyota P/U. PwC only pics!

03COBRA

I miss my 03 Cobra......
I am driving my dad's 84 toyota pickup until I get my new car. It is his extra truck that he has for emergencies, get dirt, me. Anyway, this truck just sits on the side of the house, sun beating down on it, sap, water spots from the sprinklers. Anyways I will probably be friving it for the next couple of weeks, so I took an hour and a half out of my day to clean it up a little bit. So I busted out a Sonus cutting pad, and some PwC that got yesterday, thought I would give it try. Anyways, the results are ok, I didn't wash the truck, clay, or anything. Just took some PwC to it as it sat. It looks a ton better, I might have to try the PwC when ai get the new Civic. I didn't bother polishing or anything, really wouldn't do any good!

SSR 2.5 followed by PwC would make that truck look completely different. Wouldn't take more than a couple of hours to get done.

I thought about SSR 2.5 and then the PwC, just don't know if I want to waste the product and take the time! :nixweiss

There's no car that doesn't need some love. It would be a nice surprise for your dad and give you just that much more experience. :)

definite improvement. Did you even dust it off or anything? lol I guess it wasnt too dirty to start off anyway.

I think if I was doing it, I would start with PwC then go to SSR(x), then back to PwC. Wouldnt that be good? to have the SSR work more on the paint rather than the layer of oxidation.

Not bad!

I would never tackle that truck with a PC and PwC though. I would bust out the rotary and some DACP or something a little more aggressive perhaps.

Well I just got it in yesterday and people were talking about it being a one step product. I don't need to be able to see myself in the paint, just wanted to get a little reflection. I might just bust out the SSR 2.5 and go over it again. I don't know.:nixweiss

Only do half of the truck to the best of your ability and use it as an advertisement of your skills. Whenever someone doubts your skills show em the truck. It'll win them over everytime:xyxthumbs

*I can't believe you didn't even wash it:lol :rofl :hm wouldn't that drag all that dirt all over the paint and F__ it up badly?

thats what i thought... lol... guess it couldnt get any worse tho..

Trust me, it couldn't get any worse. The paint is coming off, peeling, chipping, bubbling. It is pretty bad, I couldn't hurt it if I wanted to. :D
