NOOB - Need Purchase Advice

I've been reading this forum for a couple of weeks. I've bought a few things for my new truck. Nissan Frontier, 06, Crew Cab, Majestic Blue.



As some of the learning articles state, there's lots of confusion with a newbie.



Yesterday, I washed/dryed my truck and tried Black Magic Liquid Wax. I started with the hood and noticed water spots and lots of swirls/streaking. I buffed to no end and got the swirls out but not the water droplets.



Maybe I'm not using the right chemicals and equipment. So I'm asking for advice from the masters on this forum.



#1 Accessories - Easy to figure out and it seems the brand doesn't matter much.

I purchased Meguirs tire brushes and Interior brush.



#2 Car Wash - Armor All car wash soap.



#3 Polish - What type? Brand



#4 Clay - Mothers (is this good) or go with another



#5 Wax - Black Magic Liquit and Turtle Paste Wax (any recommondations)



#6 Invisible Glass cleaner (everyone likes this one)



#7 Black Magic tire cleaner and Wet



And I'm debating whether to purchase the Porter Cable? Is this something I should do?



Oh yeah, yesterday I bought a Motor Trend 10k light for the garage.



Again, just looking for some advice to start out.

I'm nervous screwing up my truck.

Yes buy the PC. Save your arms. It is worth it!!



As far as the water spots are concerned I would purchase Poorboy's ProPolish. Then take a polishing pad and PC and watch the spots disappear. That is what I did with some nasty waterspots. I like ProPolish a lot. I think it is better than AIO, especially the new VOC compliant version.
