non-gloss enhancing auto soaps

Can anyone tell me of some auto soaps that don't have gloss enhancing oils? I really don't want to use this type of product on a convertible top. I'm familiar with raggtopp products, but wanted to use something I can get locally perhaps.

If you don't want to use a carwash shampoo type product, try a Woolite mix. That is pretty much the most mild product you can use.

I was the owner of a BMW Z3. The owners manual said not to wash the top. Just spray water on it. Twice a year use the cleaner and sealer the Porche sells. It is the best stuff there is.

My fiance used to have a white mustang convertible with a white canvas top, and I couldn't imagine not washing it. After about six months that thing would look a nice shade of brown.

The Porsche brand products are supposed to be very good, as well as the Raggtop brand products.

My mother recently bought a 330cic and I only wash the top every once in a while, but vacuum it every time. This seems to keep it nice and clean.
