No water spots?

I'm glad to hear that it works. I'm really interested in this but I have several questions.

So instead of the $150 pump, we should use a pressure washer? Or do you mean we should get our own cheaper pump from like Home Depot?

How many gallons did you use?

Did you use the pump or a pressure washer?

How fast did it dry?

How was the ease of setup/install?

I meant you should get a cheaper pump from home depot or lowes. If your pressure washer uses 1.5GPM(Gallons Per Minute) then you need to buy a pump that supplies at least 1.5GPM.

I did not wash or rinse off the whole car. He had gotten the car back from the dealership washed and waxed so I just poured a little of the tap water on the right of the hood and some RO/DI water on the left of the hood.

My pump didn't arrive yet so I am unable to use a pressure washer.

Drying time is the same as tap water. It depends on the sun and temp outside.

Setup and installation was pretty simple. Take out of box, make sure everything is tight(I skipped this step and got water everywhere when i started it), pop in the red tube which goes into the red hole on the system, pop in the green tube which goes into the green hole. Unwind the black tube(already connected) and lay it somewhere to drain the dirty water. Place green tube in the Brute trashcan which you should of gotten from home depot, along with the pump, and your done.

I also purchased the optional auto shut off and check valve. This attaches to the green tube and is attached to the trash can. When the water reaches the level you attached it to, it automatically stops the water flow so you don't have a mess.

Just an Update

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AQUATICREEFSYSTEMS.COM

They have been very slow with my order and have not shipped out my pump which was ordered 2 weeks ago.

I did update, The system works leaving no spots as I stated above. I am going to make a hole in the bottom side of the trashcan then i'm going to connect a hose to it and then to my pressure washer. So far i've been using a pump that I purchased from home depot and cancelled my order with aquatic reef systems. But am going to return the pump and just make a hole in the trash can.

Wait let me get this straight. You fill the trash can from Home Depot with the RO/DI water, then you make a hole in the bottom and attach a hose. How do you attach the hose? Does that provide enough pressure (if it's needed) for the pressure washer? I'd really like to do the exact same thing you're doing and would like to know as much as possible about it ^_^

I still have not figured out attaching the hose yet. I have a Final exam on thursday then. Finals all next week and after my exam i'm going straight to the airport for a week in Aspen.

I don't know when i'll be able to rig it but there has to be a way. Yes It will work. The pressure washer that I use puts out 1.5 GPM. I was able to get it working with just a hose from the top of the trash can and then straight to the pressure washer. I had to siphon it and get it flowing then hook it up to the pressure washer. Installing the hose on the bottom side of the trash can will give you constant pressure from the "weight" of the water. Therefore always having pressure and no more siphoning needed.
