just wanted to make sure it seems to me that you shouldnt use mf to remove sg but i havent read anything saying otherwise or validating. anyone know?

Why wouldn't you want to use MF to remove SG? It's all I've ever used to remove it and I've never had any problems.

What else would you remove it with?

Unless you have enough MF Suede to use. I thing suede does a better job on SG but then thats would be a whole nother series of towels for you to stock.

yeah thats why i asked i think i remember hearing something like make sure youre using the right mf. i use i soft finishing cloth for application and removal. just wanted to know what was ok and what wasnt.

I too prefer the suede-style MFs for removing SG, but the plush ones work OK too as long as you don't put it on too thick. Fog the surface with your breath, it'll make removal easier.

The plush MF towels are very good at removing sg, and I haven't really used anything else but those.

As far as the sueded MF towels, those are excellent for use with 303 when applying to the interior. Nice, even finish. :)

HI!! You're right, I haven't been here in ages. Nice that you remembered me. :D I still have the vette, and still love to detail, just been busy with other things.

It feels good to be back. :hifive:

Glad to hear that, I understand about other things taking priority. I was just thinking about you and your 'vette the other day...I think maybe it was somebody's post about EF Clear Pearl that jogged my memory.
