No luck claying! Tried 2 different clay bars now + 2 different QDs!

Yeah I don't expect to see night-and-day with every vehicle. It's actually pretty cheap considering what it does. Do you find ABC'ing to be faster than claying? I've spent easily 2 hours claying a coupe before, it was relentless.

Generally ABCing can be faster than claying *when it's really called for*. Even when I clay while the "B" is dwelling/etc., doing "a few special-stuff washes", which is all the decontamination systems really are, goes faster than those marathon sessions spent with the clay.



Plus, if it's an issue, with the decon. systems you avoid the nasty marring that you can sometimes get with aggressive claying. My old Sonus gray clay is mighty abrasive, and mars even hard clear something awful (even when used gently), requiring more correction than I might otherwise need to do, made for a *lot* of work on that M3 I used to have. No such issues with stuff like ABC.
