No Holds Barred

Since I could get on the site tonight, I thought I would have a little fun here. It seems like with today's economy that even if it hasn't seriously affected your personal finances that most are holding on to our liquid assets a little tighter. I was wondering if this makes the average guy dream a little more rather than just going and doing. So... like the title of this thread says: "no holds barred", Charles is picking up the tab. :rofl What car are you going to buy with his money, he's got a lot of it?

I'll start by taking a Saleen S7. :D

A completely restored to a dailey driver grocery getter etc, late model IH Travelall with fuel injection getting 20 miles per gallon running 4 wheel drive and a 345 engine.

Its not a truck its a TRAVELALL BY INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER!!!!!!! BINDERS FOREVER!!!!
I know what it is. The forerunner to the Suburban. It's a truck. The 6000 lbs. was the point I was making. Don't forget to get one with a line card.

Ferrari for me...I don't care what model...I love the lines of those cars and the shear power!

Oh and I'll need a plush road car for the longer trips...Maybach will do!

Fantasy = 911; Reality = shopping for a 4 cyl., 5 speed, 2WD, Regular Cab, No Power Windows, Cloth Seats, Steel Wheels, Tacoma Beater that I can run forever.

KITT 3000 :yay
The missiles would come in handy heh

While that is nice.. I'll the the first one...

My Father would have been your best friend, Randall. He was a died in the wool International Harvester fan.

With that said if I were to purchase a vehicle with Charles' money I would purchase a 1965 2dr. Dodge Polaris 500 with a Mopar powered 383. Heavy car but a very nice ride. OF course it goes without saying that it would have to be a complete frame off restoration of every nut and bolt. Plus, all the preformance mod's available to make it smoother, faster, and to stop on a dime even though it is pushing 4 or 5 thousand pounds down the road.

I like spending Charles money!!!:dnaughty
