I switched to ONR a year ago over conventional washes and haven't looked back since.
I initially made the switch to ONR because of water restrictions caused by a drought in our area. However, once the water restrictions were eased so that car washing with a hose was permitted again - I loved ONR so much that I've just stuck with it.
For me ONR cleans as well or better than a conventional wash, is much quicker, and allows me to wash my car in my garage where it's cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
Also ONR is an incredibly versatile product. I buy it in the gallon size and use it at different dilution rates as a clay lubricant and a QD in addition to its primary use as a car wash.
