No difference AIO/SG ?

I've got about 75% of my car done, I didn't have a chance to do the hood or the front fenders, but I have the roof, side doors, rear 1/4 panels, hatch and roof done with AIO / One coat of SG.

I haven't wipped off the "residue" (Hardly any...) of the SG but I do not see any difference between the panels done and the very front which has just been washed (awaiting claying then AIO / SG)

I have let the SG sit on there for over 12 hours (overnight) and I am about to buff off whatever is left...

Any ideas? :bow

On good paint, the SG makes a just a *bit* of difference in appearance over AIO alone. TCarnauba over SG is the one that adds the depth.

The real benefit of SG for me is the incredible longevity.

Thanks. I just tried to get off the residue of the SG, didn't do "too" well but I'm pooped out for the day. Any chance I can get the rest off when I wash the car next week?

Other thing is that I scratched my hood all up (or its just AIO that didn't come off totally). I most have put too much AIO on the hood cause there are lines going frfom the front to the windshield.. I didn't remove most of it I guess even though I tried buffing it off right away for 10 minutes - even used some QD.

Anyway besides the little bit of haze and some scratches here and there the car looks great!

You are using a mf? You should be able to remove AIO as you go along one panel at at a time. I have had no issues with AIO scratching:nixweiss . I would use aqd to remove the sg later on.
