I'm looking for some general remarks concerning Nissan paint. Here's a guide:

1. Hard or Soft?

2. Thick CC or thin?

3. Easy to work with or a PITA?

4. Products I probably should not use

My observations having a new 350ZR - paint is pretty soft and "swirl" prone compared to other non-nissan vehicles I have owned in the past.

Ahh the good old thin Nissan / Infinity clearcoat, oh how I loathe thee.

Nothing tough on the bumpers. Paint is thin as hell there. Another thread around here recently on this.

Nissan paint is absolutely awful. Easily damaged (luckily, easily repaired). I have bought an array of Poorboys products to help me maintain it a lot better. Saving up for a high quality paintjob one day though.
