Nissan GTR-Opti-Coat....SignatureDetailing

Greg Gellas

I'm Greg :)
A quick little write up on a GTR I did earlier this week. Overall the car was in great condition. There were some RIDS that I did take care of :D

Started with the wheels using sonax, Ex-detail brushes, and a boar's hair brush to ensure I cleaned them perfectly...:D

Using the two bucket wash, using CG Citrus wash and clear mixed with dawn. I do a 50/50 of each product, and then dilute it in my foam gun. I get great suds, and it does really strip the paint well. The lower portions were sprayed with iron-x, and I got no reaction. This was a really clean car...:D

I moved on to start correcting the RIDS. I played with some products, so I used an unlabeled product that was given to me. I was told to play with it and I did. I don't know what it is but it didn’t dust much at all, and with just a little work removed the RIDS.

The entire car was then wiped down with IPA. I proceeded to apply the opti-coat. Pretty standard, nothing special here. :D And now on to the afters in the late afternoon sun...Please ignore any black spots on the car; they were on my lens...
