Hey guys,
I've been lurking around for quite some time; however, I haven't pulled the trigger on what to do purchase yet to paint correct my brother's 05 black TSX. Paint condition is in pretty bad condition. There are spiderwebs, marring pretty much everywhere on the car. It's been to dealership car washes for the past 2-3 years. I want to go ahead and purchase a PC.
How many pads should I buy? Which size? 4.5", 5.5", etc? Which color? I guess I need a backing plate, what about a counter weight? Finally, onto the polishes. Should I go with Zaino, Optimum, 3M, Mazerna? Which products exactly? I think with these type of scratches, I'll need some cutting power.
My plan is to:
wash,
clay,
polish,
glaze (RMG)
LSP (i have nxt 2.0 on hand so I'll probably use that)
Any other suggestions?
