Nics in the back of my seats

Anyone ever have hazing when using Zaino products on a BMW? I know that some polymer's give poor results on BMW's because of hazing. Is Zaino different from other polymer's in this regard?

I have had excellent results on my Japanese car with Zaino, but I am concerned about polymer hazing on my BMW (should be here next week :D )

Alan B -- Hello and welcome to the forum.

By the way, make sure to properly instruct your dealer (verbally AND in writing) regarding prep of the car: no washing, waxing, etc. -- no touching of the paint. We have discussed this a lot and if you do a search you can find the earlier discussions on dealing with the dealer.

We had one member who told the dealer he would not take delivery if the paint was touched. The dealer screwed up and our guy stuck to his guns, rejected the car, and took the next vehicle that came in.

I have the same Bimmer and color you have, except mine is a year older. I use Zaino on the paint and really like the clarity it provides on the metallic flakes of the paint.

It should add some detail to your car. Good luck!

Klasse always seems to work slightly better on German finishes, especially the darker, german colors. (I think Klasse is made by a German company) Zaino seems to work better on the "flashier" colors, reds, blues, yellows ect. Zaino seems to make those colors "pop".

Hello all, got a E46 and the back of the seats have some nics in them. Any ideasnon how to repair them (if at all possible)?

Where exactly on the seat are these ? Looks like something pinched the leather together so long its stretched it.

You might want to email the leather doctor and see if he can help you out.
His email address is - [email protected]

He know alot more than anyone I can think of about leather, and seems to be very helpful to people who come to his forum with questions. He also sells products that seem to work well with all types of leather too.
Good luck with this.

The scrapes are high right on the back of the drivers seat.
