I received a catalog for Eastwood Unique Automotive Tools and Supplies in the mail yesterday.

I guess I'm on some sort of mailing list :nixweiss

But, the catalog is awesome; loaded with detailing stuff, tools and car restoration things.

You can check them out here if you want:

Eastwood has been around for years. They do have some nice things in there. I've bought some restoration tools from them along a few other things year ago.

I've been getting their catalogs for a long time. In fact, the latest arrived today :up

I first learned about them from the show My Classic Car

Yeah, Eastwood is one of those catalogs where there just *has* to be something you can't live without :D

I seem to have fallen off their mailing list though...

Always been happy with Eastwood's service. :xyxthumbs

Just about everything in their catalog is available from other sources but I've never seen anybody that comes close to having as much cool restoration stuff in one place. Their prices are usually reasonable too.

PC.

I've been getting their catalog ever since I ordered some hog rings and pliars from them to install my leather seat covers. It's a nice catalog.

That and Griots ;) ;) Jeez, they're kinda slow sending me the latest one :nono :)

Yeah, I get sorta :angry that Griot's took me off their mailing list, considering how much business I give them and how often I recommend their products.

It's because their conscience finally caught up with them and they felt bad for ripping you off all these years :rofl :chuckle: ......................................................;)

Sorry Accum, I needed an excuse to try out these new smilies :har:

Spilchy- Heh heh, I guess I *am* a pretty easy target when it comes to wisecracks about Griot's prices :o  Great opportunity to try out those smilies all right!

Heh heh, here I thought the joke was on *them* as I'd returned the stuff that didn't perform to spec. Now they actually make me *work* for the privilage of being overcharged by them :p

Though their Car Wash and BHBs (and the few other things I still get from them) aren't really all that expensive...

Gotta love the free catalogs. I've been getting eastwoods and harbor freight for a couple years now. Also just received amazon's tool crib catalog ;)

If you work on tall vehicles, the Tool Crib catalog has a *great* work platform! It's back in the ladder section. I thought it would be a cheap copy of my Werner platform, but I actually like the new one better. A platform on each side of the minivan makes short work of the roof.

Hmm.. another ctalog I'd like to reuest :up. Oh yeah, Accumulator, everyone I show really loves that Sporty's tool catalog. Lots of goodies in there.

Which one are you talking about ? The Warner Hi-Stride Drywall Bench ?

Nah, the Bauer Fold-N-Carry Work Platform pn# 20900. In the January '05 catalog it's on page 87 (and on sale at $139.99).

Bill D- Yeah, the Sporty's is sorta like a "Griot's for the home owner". A bit overpriced but lots of stuff that most people won't find elsewhere. Their "Preferred Living" catalog has lots of neat household stuff too (and some stuff that's tacky as can be :D ).

Yeah, I can't imagine doing such jobs without one. Heh heh, actually I can't imagine doing such jobs without *two* of 'em ;)

But I wouldn't wait too long if there's any chance you'll need such a thing. The Werner one I bought first was discontinued right after I bought mine and I couldn't find another one *anywhere*. I had to wait two years for the Bauer ones to come out and you might be SOL if *they* quit making them too. No comparison (IMO) between these and the ones people usually get, so I wouldn't gamble on them staying available.

All sorts of uses around the house besides detailing too. OK, enough of my hard-sell :o
