DETAILED TODAY?
Did something different this year. Broke 1 week down and have the next 5 Friday`s off. Last one will lead into Memorial day weekend for a 4-day weekend. Looking forward to some long weekends!

Yea. You can tell when you hit that wall. It`s time for some time off! I still have 1 week that I have to take all at once. I`ll do that later in the summer.

I did similar at a prior job. They used to have us on an 80/20 schedule, so we would have every other Friday off. Well, I had so much vacation time toward the end of the year, I took every other Monday off. So I had 4 day work weeks for several months, with 4 day weekends twice a month. Something like that. It was great while it lasted.

I used to do the same thing but then I quit drinking too much and was able to make it to work 5 days in each week. :rofl:rofl

WOW. Something to be said for a 4-day work week. Really enjoying the Fridays off. Just wish the weather was a bit better! 2 down 3 to go. Granted the last 2 I was busy as all get out. Grass cutting, washing the Xterra etc... But great part is you are still left with a 2 day weekend.

Well, when I first started it was 4-10 hour days with Fridays off on 2nd shift. Then they went to a 5 day 8 hour week. I and many others were not happy about it. But your right, that first 5 day week is going to seem long...

Enjoy your time off. One year I had so much vacation time since there was so much work that I ended up taking every friday off from August to December to burn through my time off. Or else I would have lost it. It was great.

That`s how it`s done. I rarely took time off, so I had close to 100hrs and I just took every single Monday off for a couple of months, it was amazing and I did get used to it . They used to pay me that time if I didn`t use it by the end of the year, but when they told us we`re gonna start losing it I thought "ok, hold my beer" .

A Sunday when no work on Monday is *the* best day, and especially night, of the week. Dunno why, but it is...Saturday can`t hold a candle to it.

I wish I could get a Friday off for a nice 3 day weekend. We`ve been going as fast as we can go with no end in site. We were told a couple months ago we`d go back to the 4 10 hr days and a 3 day weekend... yea about that...
