Anyone considering detailing full-time for a living should be made to stare at this photo for a week straight!! Too bad it isn't "scratch and sniff". ;)

Beautiful work as always Scott!! :up

Mike-I definitely agree. People just getting into professional detailing after cleaning their own and friends's well maintained vehicles have no idea how messy other people are. The interior had a musty, smokey odor, much reduced when I finished, it was the first thing she noticed when she opened the door-how much cleaner it smelled. :)

Kevin-the Rolls is his daily driver. Seriously. He has had it less than 2 years and it has almost 26,000 miles on it. Those are rock chips.

Actually, they had already traded in the Civic and bought a new car but the day after they bought the car, they found it for $6000 less on that dealer's website. Took it back, told them they'd never do business with them again and got the Civic back. Said she is going to drive it another 6 months or so and wanted it clean inside. :nixweiss

Prometheus-no problems at all with foaming. Either you are spraying on too much or mixing it too strong. Try going 8 or 10 to 1 and see if that helps.

Brandon-not sure, big turbo diesel of some kind though.

That Civic transformation is incredible! I bet you had a big smile on your face when you first saw it. :D I think it's cool that the owner of the Rolls uses it as his daily driver. It shows though, those rock chips marr the otherwise perfect paint finish you provide him.

2004 Rolls Royce Phantom = around $320,000 usd... with rock chips already, damn I wouldn't be to happy with that!

Amazing work BTW!

He buys his cars to drive. Same deal with the Bentley and Lambroghinis he's had. He just gets the front end repainted on them every couple of years. I know for his Diablo, it was around $5000 for the front bumper, hood and front fenders when he had it done. :nervous2:

so how long did the interior on the civic take you....

and no extractor??? just the woollite mix and a scrub brush and a vacuum??? if so, awesome job!!!

Does anyone know how to make something like that for me? I want to have something funny to put on a t-shirt, and I think that would great.

No extractor, just woolite/water mix, scrub brush, towels and my wet vac.

Steve-lots of people on offtopic.com seem to have that skill, where do you think I get all the smilies and that Soutpark image of me with the PC?

I am sure there are people here that can do that stuff too. :)

I've said it before and I'll have to say it again Scott..."yours is the standard by which all others are to be judged"....

I can't help but shake my head in appreciation...

Damn fine work.

did you do the top of the motor coach ??

geez -***

that thing was mammoth :spit:

Nothing, too much stuff up there and the material is similar to a spray in bed liner. I was told not to worry about it-so I didn't. ;)

I really wanted to say something like "outstanding" or "phenominal" but there just isnt a good enough word to describe the work. That RR is just jaw dropping... and just when I thought I couldnt be more amazed I scrolled down to the Civic.

A+ work right there.

Did you charge by ft on the coach? do you do the interior? Nice Job on the Civic!

I charge by the hour on the coach. His maid cleans the interior.

Probably use Poli-seal on it the next time.

How many different products do you have? It seems like every car you do, you use a different product. You must have alot of stuff :) I like the civic make over!
