It took a lot of determination, self discipline, and wiping residue off of weather seals, but when my new Makita 9227 arrived today, I opened the box, and knew immediately that I'd finally hit the big time.

To this point I've been using the chisels to remove surface contamination and the hammers to work out scratches and scuffs.

I'm about to be doing a big one myself that will include a Porter Cable ... was actually looking into circulars for a while but decided it was best to start with a DA.

Get the new GG it's better than the new PCXP .
 
Good to see someone buying a rotary. You will be saving a lot of time. I never understood why so many people waste HOURS with the porter cable?:think:

Exactly. I think it's important to learn to use a DA, I'll still be using it in many, many applications, but I know that having my rotary back will save me a lot of time on customer jobs.
