Newbie with a Single-Stage Paint Question

Greetings!

I'm new to the board and have been VERY impressed by the quality of the cars I've seen on here, so I thought I would introduce myself with a few very VERY flattering pictures of the crappy paintjob on my car (which will lead very nicely into my question about Single-Stage paints).

My car currently sports a Single-Stage (integrated clearcoat) paintjob. I've been warned against wet-sanding it and was curious if anybody had any tips on how to remove scratches and get the best shine with what I have. I plan to get it repainted in a year or two, but any single-stage care instructions or products would be very much appreciated!

Knight TA- No need to wetsand, that's a pretty extreme approach that can easily go wrong. Just use mild products such as 3M's PI-III line (RC 05933 and MG 05937) to remove/reduce the marring. Or stuff from Menzerna, or stuff from 1Z (my fave), or from Meguiar's. Lots of options, just don't use anything too aggressive.

heheh...KARR...Knight's Automated Roving Robot...cool...

but yeah...listen to accumlator's suggestions on the products...very good...no need for wetsanding...start from the least aggressive and work on up...

OK I lied that wasn't the car you lost to.... HEH Hmm That Mezerna stuff seems to be a very popular item. Has it made the round and stood the test of time? I will be purchasing some Klasse items for this site soon and getting to work. The weather is getting really nice in Minnesota so I'm getting all excite HEH
