hi all, newbie
did tons of reading.
got my honda repainted 10 months ago, the job was average..
i was hoping to get a nice wet deep look with as my hobbie.
got a green, blue and gray excel pads.

is this right ?

1.wash
2. clay ( troubled areas )
3. polish w/ green then blue
4. wax ( i have nxt )
 
Welcome, I'm pretty new here myself and you've definitely come to the right place for tips and advice. Personally, if the car hasn't been clayed at all (since it was repainted), I would clay the entire car, then proceed with the polish and wax.
 
Sounds like you have a plan down. Claying the entire car wouldn't be a bad idea..you might have some overspray here and there that you can remove with it.
 
just tried out my pc for the first time yesterday.
washed
use mothers pro. polish ( green pad )
and #26 yellow wax. ( finishing pad )

nice..
but alot of room for impovement.
