Thanks "the other pc" I have a newbie question. I use armol for my interior, Ive heard people say that is it bad because it dries out the vinyl. Is this statement true? What do you guys use to clean your interior?

Armoral is not really harmful, there is better stuff out there, but you aren't doing any damage.

EDIT: Nice car. Are you in the service? If so, thanks!

So what is the best wax to use on my car? Its silverstone silver. My buddy told me about Meguirs 3 step and Mothers car care system. Again I am no expert one waxing and washing by any means.. Thanks for your help guys

Welcome rx7!!

You'll find this to be an amazing site & a tremendous resourse. For your interior.......Try the 303 Aerospace Protectant & the 1Z Cockpit premium. The Cockpit Premium makes for a nice quick detailer while the 303 gives you u.v. protection. As for Armor All.......I've used it strictly for Tires & Trim on my Truck. It's not a harmful product to use IMO & I've never had any problems with the surfaces I've applied it to. However.........I just started using the Zaino Z16 on my tires. That Z16 is a terrific product.

When it comes to wax.........You can use the Meg's 3 step combo. I used to use it many years ago. It's easily available, cost effective & produces solid results. If you like Meguiar's products, try the # 26 paste wax!!!

If you're looking for the best wax to use.......Synthetics are the way to go. Klasse Twins, WG, UPP,FMJ & ofcourse.....ZAINO!! ( just my opinion! ) If you're looking for a quality carnauba wax, I'm in love with the P21S & Souveran Wax. You might want to try the Poorboys line as well. I've also heard good things regarding the Moose Wax. I've just ordered some Vanilla Moose last week and I'm looking forwars to using it in the near future. ( silly me didn't order the Moose Wax though. Another day....Another time! ) For my money, If it's a Meguiar's wax you're looking to use..........Meg's # 26!

rx7_FD- Welcome to Autopia! Nice car, my wife had one in the same color.

I'd go with the 4-star UPP too. Looks great on silver (it's what I use on my "good" car).

The paint on your car is very hard, so if you have any marring (scratches, "spiderwebs", etc.) you might want to consider a polisher such as a PC or a Cyclo.

I clean the ineriors with Griot's Interior Cleaner. You can use the dressing of your choice, nothing wrong with the Armor All if you like it.

:bow :xyxthumbs What a beautiful car! I love the Gen 3 RX-7.

My personal recommendation would be to try Zaino and 303 Protectant. There is tons of info in this website so welcome and enjoy! :)

sorry to get off topic but i was just curious. rx7_FD arent you from rx-7club with that hot girl as your avatar? (forgot her name...).
