I had my car professionally detailed last year by "elortt" and was very satisfied with the job. Only problem is I cannot get in touch with hime this year, so I tried working on my car myself and am not getting the results I am looking to achieve.

I have taken some pictures of my hood after claying and applying Meguir's #9 swirl remover. The hood still looks terrible. Any thoughts on what product I can apply that might help. I have done this by hand, will buying a pc help or is it the product I am using?

Sorry for not going into much detail but I am new to this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey

Got your email and sent you one back. I'd be happy to come out to Ann Arbor and help you. Your picture actually looks like you have mostly "micro" rock chips? Also, it looks a little faded but hard to tell unless I saw it in person. Generally, I think you need to use a machine (rotary or PC depending on what is needed), going by hand and getting good results is tough.
