Thanks everyone. I will get some more pics whenever the sun ever comes back out here lol.
tropicsteve thank you for the links for the mods. The button one is perfect!
It was defiantly a learning experience and nowhere close getting a technique down yet. I had watched quite a few vids but still ran into issues. One being, which may just be common sense, was do I add polish to the pad on every section while polishing? I did, maybe 3-4 pea size drops. But noticed my pad was kinda caking? in the middle. So I let up on the amount of pressure that I was putting on the polisher so it was able to spin faster. The caking went away. So it seems to me there is a thin line for polish amount and pressure and probably speed. Can HD Speed be takin down to almost nothing for it to be still doing its job? After I done a spot, and around 4-6 passes in that spot there was still product left in most cases. Is that the proper way to work Speed? Should there be product left after doing 4-6 passes? I felt like I went slow, maybe an inch per sec? I even done the bathroom scales thing and put the polisher on it then pushed down and tried to remember what 9-12 lb felt like. Maybe I was putting too much pressure?
Anyway, thanks again everyone. Anymore tips, ideas would be appreciated.
