New Vette is home! Detailing tomorrow...

Retired Geezer
So after finding a dealer in Ohio that would sell me a Vette without all the above MSRP crap I got the car this week. Today was spent lowering the car, putting on new wheels and some appearance mods...tomorrow after tinting, I get started with an inital detail.

The baggie test shows some roughness but not a lot..so I'll just do a rinseless and a speedy prep towel Then I think I''ll just go back to my old standard: TPnS, WD and then CS....

some pics from the wheel shop:

Glen !!!!
That is a Stunningly Beautiful Machine !!!!!
Congratulations !!!
If you can post up some details someday - model, hp rating, options, etc.?
Thanks for sharing -

This is a mid level car with leather interior and the base suspension which is more complaint. Chevy offered a handling package so cheap they sold out of it until january. I wanted a more smooth ride. The GM wheels are bad so I put these on. it is 460 hp.465 TQ with the perf exhaust - you can open or close the baffles or have it automatically do it..very slick. It is a very precise car - not like former vettes...very nice interior with a very diff ride. I would never buy a vette until this one. The amazing thing is the price--> base is 51K and this one after options was 59.BEAUTIFUL real carbon fiber dash

Nice car, enjoy it in the best of health. I am shocked that anyone cut a deal on a new Vette.

Around here they are really jacking up the prices. I have a customer that is a Chevy Dealer and he told me that he is gettng so few vettes that he cannot deal on them at all.

Good luck with it.

very nice..saw a white one last weekend at hennessey motorsports, fresh off the truck with wrapping and all...they really did the new ones right
