New vehicle purchase!!

We have the 09 Sport Blue in the SE trim level, four cyl. . I'm very impressed with the car, but oh so pissed when four days later the dealer had the 10's on the lot in the same color, and pretty much the same price..oh well.

I'm glad you haven't had any issues and bummer about the '10s. Do you frequent any Fusion forums or know of the top ones? :thanks

Congrats on a great looking car. Didn't know those had HP numbers like that. I'm a huge Ford fan, and I think their "relative" strength in the market compared to other companies speaks volumes of the quality, value and great vehicles Ford produces. Do you really need to use a swirl remover already? That's a bummer if that's the case.

I'm certainly impressed with the HP and quality so far. There are some light scratches here and there (lot inflicted) and some decent scratches on the trunk. I'm not sure if 85rd will be strong enough but I'm probably going to start off with that. Oh, and all of these inspections were done with limited sun -- no halogens yet.

Here are some pictures after the clean up :). I washed, clayed and used my Flex, Menz 106FA with a finishing pad and 85RD with another finishing pad to clean up all of the lot damage (minimal) and topped off with 2 coats of Wolfgang Fusion 12+ hours apart. I still have some work to do on the engine bay, interior, rubber moldings, plastic trim, and to remove the wheels to polish and protect properly. Anyways, I'll let the pictures do the talking :)

Agreed on the flake :bigups Simply beautiful paint color.

An excellent example of how lighting and angle can make a difference. The initial shots didn't hint at the amount of flake in the paint.

The flake is almost breathtaking :). Every angle the car shimmers and changes appearance slightly. The flake on the plastic / fiberglass panels (side view mirror, spoiler and bumpers) is even more spectacular but overall I love the color. At dusk the car turns into a gray blue color and in the bright sun its bright blue.

You picked a good color,is that the SYNC Microsoft equipped model.2010 is much better looking than the first years.NICE RIDE ENJOY...

^ LOL. I'm glad you took it well. Some things just never come across well in type over the internet. Well, in my case it's in person sometimes, too. Hmm.

Back on topic, that metallic is astounding.

Thanks. Yes it does have the Sync, it makes life a lot easier! I was looking at the 08s and 09s (they're giving them away right now) but after looking at the new ones, it was no contest!

Thanks to everyone else as well. I love the flake :). I'm sure it'll get detailed often so pictures of it won't be scarce :).
