I am looking at selling my black 97 A8. I just got back from a business trip to Pennsylvania, round trip about 800 miles, including rain and snow. My car looks like crap. Thanksgiving coming up, I'll take a couple days and detail it from top to bottom.
Hour or so ago, phone rings, my wife hangs up and says, "Someone is coming to see your car." I jump up and attack it. Too dirty for my Poorboys S&W, so I start washing. When I'm done, because of my haste & the length of time since it was last detailed, lots of microswirls from towels, those 3-D like holographs from dirty towels, whatever. I'm like, What do I do? I then remembered, I used EX on a faded porsche and saw it transferred alot of red to the hand applicator. Steve said it was because of the PD, so I wondered if this would allow it to work like a cleaner wax. I tried it.
It worked! Car looks great. I did it in the sun by hand, and it looks awesome.
Anyone else try this? Sorry, no pics
