My brother just picked up a 01' F150 Supercrew and being that he likes the way my car looks he actually found a Black one!
Now the GOOD, The Bad, and The Extreamly Ugly!!
It has had some neglect! And when I say SOME I really mean a lot to our standards. I went with him to pick it up last night and the sales rep was standing there and my brother says to me "Well What do you think" My response "Well We have our work cut out for us" The sales rep asks what does that mean....So I said car dealers should stick to selling cars period they have no idea as to how to clean a car. I took him into the light showed him all the swirls and holograms ect. His response was we just had our shop clean this today...My response was to fire your detailer... and I left it with that! The sales rep also got annoyed that I removed the sticker he just put on the tailgate of the truck. I said unless your going to pay for the paint repair and or the advertising its not going to happen! He just walked away and shook his head! (I like pissing off sales reps)
Who ever waxed the truck got wax on EVERY piece of exterior trim!!
The paint is for the most part not too bad nothing that a few hrs with a PC won't fix There are some deep scratches that I will be fixing...
Heres my ultimate questions!!
It has side steps on it that are Chrome with Black Treds! and the Chrome is kind of swirled What can I do to fix this? What Kind of dressing would you typicly use on the Treads!
Any other tips and suggestions for dealing w/ big Trucks will be helpfull!
Thanks
