New toy!

If that's the case, then the guy from Canada is using Flawless' driveway and tree for the signature pic he uses on beyond.ca. His sig pic is definitely using the same driveway as the other pics in that thread.

I still don't see how you're ignoring the obvious conclusion that the Canadian guy idolizes Flawless as many here on Autopia do :ca

You'd be surprised (or not) at how deep my ignorance runs... :D

Back OT.. Very jealous of the Sun Gun. Hopefully, Accumulator will stop in with some help on how to use it to find defects and halos. It's been said that Sun Guns are *almost* as good at outing holograms as the sun.

Is the sun gun more suited for finding holograms and haze leftover from a rotary than swirls?

With a little bit more practice last night I think I'm starting to get the hang of it - probably wasn't a great idea to start using it on a yellow car where I have trouble finding defects in the first place - had to use it at an angle and tilt my head to follow it to see any remaining defects.

Flawless has some kind of problem with reality. Check out this thread he started,

How about this one:

http://www.autopia.org/forum/detail.../117255-am-i-charging-too-low-price-18-a.html

In less than a week he goes from saying he's a total detailing newbie to owning a detail business that makes 4k/week.

Well, clearly he's (by his own admission) some kind of newb: http://www.autopia.org/forum/machine-polishing/117769-new-use-buffer-frustrated.html . However, his "mobile vehicle pressure washing service" may indeed gross $4K a week, who knows. That is, until that EcoPrestoDripDry guy catches up with him and sics the water police on him...

It looks like this Joker is hiding in his closet now after he was busted for lying :nana:.....

Man these guys are killing my mojo.. I'm used to being the one everyone hates on here. Now it's like I don't even exsist anymore LOL... Although I guess in all fairness I've never stooped so low as to steal someone else's pic's and call them my own or try to push off some awesome cutting edge eco-crap franchise on anyone either.. Maybe I need to up my game.... naw... :D

Pffft.... nawww. Just cause you're mean and ornery doesn't mean we don't like you, I mean, after all, look at Setec! ;) IMO, I enjoy reading every one of your posts, even when they tick me off. That's what's great about this place... lot's of different personality types to interact with.

About the Sun Gun... I think, and I may be totally wrong, that it's meant more for finding holos then regular ole swirls. A brinkman, incandescent and halogens are what I use for swirl/RID finding, then I use flourescents for gloss level. Unfortuntely, I have no light source for finding holos other than the sun. You can never have too many light sources, though. It seems like there are always a few defects that show up under one of the light sources, but not necessarily *all* of the light sources.

Okay, that's what I was starting to think as well. No halos here :D

'going down' is not part of my agenda.. whether or not other 'detailers' on a website approves of me doesnt affect my life whatsoever.. enjoy the thread (again)!
