I am starting my own hand car wash and detail and would like your professional advice on products that would make the washing process efficient i.e. Wash and Wax combo soap or self drying soap. Best MF to use to make things fast and other product recommendations. Thanks in advance for all of your help!! :usa

I'm not sure you'll get the advice you're after here. This is more of a 8 hour detail type place, not a "get it out as fast as possible" type environment.

Yeah, here its quality not quantity. Just look around. A wash and wax soap doesnt provide protection, and theres no "self drying soap". Look, read, and learn around here, and you might see detailing cars isnt as easy as you think, and the type of busniess your starting has a bad rep around here.

.....but I'll give you the advice you're wanting anyways.
Zaino and a few others have a good car wash soap, but don't use the Zaino Sealent unless you plan on claybaring the car first....
Best method to wash a car is using the two bucket method, pretreat soiled area's first, spray down vehicle to loosen dirt, use multiple wash mitts (for tops, sides and and wheels), rinse, then dry with a high powered blower, touch up with clean MF towel or chamie, treat rims/tires, wheel wells and trim.
Wax with a polymer sealent out of the sun, wipe off with clean MF towel.
If you're going to do this mobily, then you'll need a truck, pressure washer, generator, 100-150 gal. water tank, not to mention all the little goodies like MF towels, wheel brushs, dusting brushs, spray bottles, MF applicators, and all your chemicals......at the very least.
Typically most "detailers" take there time and do an excellent job over a quicky and move on........quality is what I get paid for not quantity.:goodjob

As you can see from the early replies, many of the detailers here focus on offering high cost, high quality detailing services. However, there is also a need out there for basic wash and wax services too. Especially when they are done fast, safe and efficiently.
As far as wash products are concerned, I am not really sure that there is enough difference in the various soaps that would cause them to offer much of a time savings. Waxes are another story. I would think that a cleaner wax would be a good product of choice after washing. Of course, a cleaner wax will not offer long lasting protection and it may not produce the ultimate gloss, but it will be enough to make most vehicles look better.
You could use a MF or synthetic chamois, such as the Absorber to dry the vehicles. There are other methods, however, the Absorber seems to be safe and works pretty good.
There is nothing wrong with going out there and working fast. After all, most people are usually in a hurry and don't like to have there car tied up for extended periods of time. So if you can speed up the process, why not?
Hopefully, some others here can add a few more positive recommendations.

There is definitely a need for quick wash and wax type services. You can achieve satisfactory results using a one-step polish/wax applied via machine. Conveinience is a big plus in this day and age. As your skills improve and you gain a customer base, you can always offer more Autopian like services. Just remember that no matter what services you offer, give your customers value for their money.

With all those little 49.99 places that do next to nothing and mess up your paint, a good "wash and wax" place is in need. Id use maybe Megs Hyperwash for a wash because of its extreme ablility to be diluted, wash with shmitt or sheepskin and 2 bucket method, and dry with some WW Micros. Then Id reccomend a Cyclo with optimum poliseal wiped off with OCW, you have a cheap, slick, and well protected finish in a short amount of time.
