Just joined today. When I was younger, about 20 years ago, I used to be in the business. Back then, we only used rotary's and I more than once burned the corners of someones paint job. It was to stressful, and I got out.
After joining this forum, I realized what advancements have been made. Multiple products, layering, and PC. Now it seems like you need to completely go over the car 4 or 5 times before you are done!
Seems like a lot of work, for about the same kind of money. I really appreciate how professional this site and everyone who is on it seems to be. I look forward to reading, and putting all the knowledge from this site to good use for my new ride!
BTW, I have now become "That Guy". Remember when you were younger, that could mean today too, and you saw that older guy in the HOT car and you were thinking what a waste. Darn old man is just putting around it that cool machine.....YEP....that's me....except I don't really putt around.
Just recently purchased a 2002 silver Z/28....not stock either...pushing about 425HP.....sounds mean...runs even better....now....If I can just detail the heck out of it....I will really tick off them young whipper-snappers.......lol.
