New to Forum with New Car

Welcome playloud, You'll find plenty here to help you keep your car looking brand new. Take advantage of the search button, it comes in handy at times.

I'm a newbie too, but with an older car.
I lurk a lot here, reading posts and threads. I've created a "recipe book" for detailing from the tips here. Like for window cleaning, I've got 5 or 6 different suggestions. So when I run out of what I've got, or am unsatisfied, I open it up and give something a try.

I find the initials for things, QD, LSP, R2D2, etc., a little tough to follow.

If you are new to detailing, pick an area and get good at it: interior cleaning or exterior paint protection. Have some fun, start with an uncomplicated 2 or 3 step system, then watch the guys/gals that show their pics and rip off their system. Once you get basics, move deeper, expand products.

Just some suggestions.

Hello and welcome.
Search around, you will find that many new people have a similar questions, if you don't find an answer there is always someone willing to help.
As for the acronyms that are used, here is a link you can also find it pinned on the top of this forum

Congrats on the new car, BTW what type is it?

I live in Orange County, CA

My new car is a Honda CRV (Redondo Red Pearl) and there is a lot of black trim/bumpers etc. That is what I am going to focus on at first along with the tires.

Trim Restorer from Poorboy's seems like a good product to try for the bumpers, eh? Also Bold N Bright Tire Dressing for the tires?
