New TL

I have the same "stuff" in my rear wheel wells. I've been spraying a bit of liquid tire shine in there. The same stuff that i use on the inside of the wheelwells in the front. It looks like it is holding up pretty good after a couple of months. I hope that it helps with reducing the amount of snow that will probably stick to the astro-turf in the winter. I don't know how it does in the snow yet.

Do you think that the tire shine will eventually build up and defeat the sound-deadening capability of the 'stuff'?

BTW, I took my '04 TL through a winter already (picked it up in December of '03) and the wheel well lining still looks Ok after cleaning.

I've been spraying in there for a couple of months. I wash my car about twice a week and do it every time. I havn't seen an accumulation in there yet. But i don't think that it will eventually affect the sound deadening qualities. Worse case scenario would be to wash it out if it causes unwanted effects for you.

Kind of a strange material to be in there though. I would have preferered to have seen that installed from the inside rather than the outside of the car.

Just another TL owner sending his congrats on your new ride.

For some reason I didn't take to the new design but definitely have changed my tune. It's a great looking car. The more I see on the road the more I like it!

I leased my 03 so will have to wait another 2 yrs before making the change. Just something to look forward to.

Best of luck 65redcorvette !!!

Hey, send some pics !
