Vettster,

Welcome to DC, their's a wealth of information here on detailing products. What you've purchased is all decent, Meguiar's sure did well by you! Keep reading and trying out products. You'll get to learn what people like and as you gain experience you'll come to your own preferences. Enjoy it, you're hooked now!

Good start. One important thing. Don't waste your $ on cheap orbital polisher. If you have to get one, save $ for Porter Cable. I am speaking from experience, I wasted my $ on a $49 Sears polisher and now it just taking space in my gargage.

Like mentioned above, good start. Make sure you read and absorb all you can. It will help you become a great detailer. Welcome to the site.

u got the exact things i would suggest to someone starting out in need of OTC products. all those products are Great!. only thing missing is a claybar. im assuming u bought those at advance so the claybar they supply is by mothers.

do u know the order in which to use them yet for u're next detail...

bump! wha tyltan said. dont buy a cheap orbital. it may sound like the same thing but its definately not.

that colorx is awesome and nxt should give u some decent protection. scratchx is the best hand scratch/swiorl remover i can think of.

I have been chatting with vettster on AIM. Ive been suggesting the products for him so start off with. Now i just cant wait to see some more pics of that black jetta!!

That's one thing I realized was missing, a clay bar, which is something to add if you haven't boughten one yet.

I'm still young (17, 18 soon), and I've been learning a lot from DC. Stick around, it's a great place :bigups
