yes, wcd is pretty much correct this is what it states on their website.

forget that....if you hit a puddle....psh...I would drive through puddles every day and always have a clean car for nothing!!! LOL



i know it doesnt work that way, only one free "wave wash", but its not my fault if you hit a puddle, I wouldnt feel obligated to clean your car again for free...
 
I don't think they feel obligated I think it is a great marketing ploy. When people hear about it they tell their friends about the new car wash that offers a clean car guarantee, or maybe you choose their car wash instead of another because of it. how much can it really cost them to wash your car again if you do come back? Which I doubt many people do. I mean their employees are already going to be there getting paid. Just my thoughts.
 
i look at it from a fixed location stand point...



if i drive by a place and they are crowded, then I am not going to wait in line to get my car washed. Ill just go somewhere else....if (hypothetically) I have 10 out of 15 cars getting their car rewashed for free, only 5 of those cars are paying for my employees at the present time, and I am losing potential passer by traffic....take a poll from people...if you asked them if they wash their car on a certain day or just when its not busy...most I have asked will say when its not busy...
 
I see your point, something they are doing works for this company. Who knows what in particular, but as the article says they were listed as a top wash in 2006. I mean a slow day of 200 cars?! I wouldn't wait either, but this place somehow has them lined up wrapping around the building, it is pretty crazy.
