NEW! PUMP your PC or Flex UP with the ONLY OFFICAL KEVIN BROWN METHOD KITS!!!

Let me add to Eric's comments by saying thanks for such a huge effort. Good things take time and I appreciate you making sure it's right before posting.

You can use any polish you want to in my opinion. 105 and 205 have no chemical connection but 205 is an awesome polish. Pretty strong too I might add. It can remove some serious defects and finish out nice. I'm using it a lot more than 105 over the last week.

When I made my first purchase of these products I bought 105 stand-alone without purchasing 205. When I finally broke down and bought the 205, I was amazed at it's versatility. Even though it is a fine polish and not a compound, many times it will do the job without going to the heavy cut compound. Great product!

I'm actually finding myself using 205 more (a lot) than 105. There is no dusting, easier to remove, and when you need just a 75% correction done fast, nothing is better to use.

True. At first, I was skeptical because, according to the label graphic, it wasn't supposed to have much cutting power. But now, after using it on a few vehicles, I find it to be the perfect light swirl remover!

You really need to try Meg's D-151. It has amazing cut with really good protection. The thing is, I believe the protection (carnauba I think) that is in 151 really help the non diminishing abrasives "rouge" the finish. I use it as a finishing out step after 105/205 a lot now. Alone, it protects for 5-6 weeks. I now top it off with Meg's Ultimate Quik Wax and the durability is 8+ weeks. The look is amazingly deep too. I'm also testing out Meg's over the counter "Ultimate Compound". It's in between 105 and 205 in cut and easier to remove than 105 but its finishing out nicer than 205! Not bad for a product that's 7.00 a bottle.

Paper update...

So much for the daily update!

There has been progress on the paper. It seems to be stalled, but is not. I have been working on a new section, and it is a very difficult topic to write about. Perhaps it is not hard to understand, but it sure is tough to keep things simple when discussing it!

Right now, this new section will add possibly three to four more pages of text. As of right now, pages 13, 14, 15, and 16 are works in progress.

To note- all of these additions pertain to the use of the random orbital machine. There has been no new information added that relates to buffing liquids. Although buffing liquids, pads, and paint types are constantly changing, the machines we use are not changing all that much. The basic movements created by today's polishing machines are the same as they were over 50 years ago (orbital, rotary, or a combination of the two).

If I am doing my job well, this paper will give the reader a very complete understanding of how to wring the most out of the random orbital. It is a relatively simple machine, but how it is affected by outside factors is seemingly endless! I am trying to address all issues related to its use. :out:

Looking forward to it, Kevin, and we appreciate your efforts. Hopefully b y the time the paper is ready for publication or ""Cybercation" my polishing skills and knowledge will have progressed to a point where it will dovetail with your recommendations!

Thanks for the patience. When it's all done I will be very proud of the paper.

I am hoping to start a KEVOLUTION of updated random orbital POWER USERS! :D
