New Products, Can They be Layered

Got an order in today, Menzerna FMJ, Blackfire all paint protection, and Klasse SG. I also have Jeffs Acrylic Jett and NXT. Can you layer any of these products on each other, and is there any benefit to doing so?

Mixed layering of products is pretty popular, but I wasn't that impressed with what little I have done. It seemed to me that with proper paint prep, any of several products by themselves looked good. I really didn't see much improvement, but many people would argue that.
The NXT is the only one of those listed I have used so I'm not much help.

I do feel the 2 or 3 coats of a product are beneficial if for no reason other than to assure good coverage.

I agree with Charles. Of the products you mentioned I have used NXT and Blackfire. I can see no difference when I apply a second layer. What does make a temendous difference is proper preparation -- the preparation that you can only get with a pc and the right polish for the condition of the paint. I wax my vehicles about every six to eight weeks and they always look great.

You can layer them all you want with the exception of NXT. It contains cleaners in it which WILL remove the previous sealants which would be a waste of time and money. You may get different looks if you layer various sealants but I am guessing it'd be minimal so really no looks / protection benefit but no loss either (except for the NXT) 2-3 layers of a product would be fine... But if you were going to mix sealants lay down Klasse SG down first as a durable base and then go at it with whatever you want whether it is more layers of SG, or FMJ, or Blackfire, or AJ, or even a Carnauba wax.... or spray wax....

i agree with budman3 here. ive use the NXT before and ive learn that it does contain cleaners and it will definitely remove any previous waxes applied.

Well what would NXT follow...if its a wax with cleaner in it?
I have used it over PB line..seemed ok.
Would AIO and NXT be a good mix then?

Some products just don't chemically react that well with others, especially polymer sealants. This may cause bonding issues and lower vis clarity. Layering polymers and a carnauba wax on the other is fine in most cases unless the carnauba wax contains cleaner agents. But just as Budman3 mentioned, lay down Klasse 1st prior to any additional coats.
