New Poorboys EX-P+ On Silver Solara

I found it to be very thick as compared to the regular EX-P. I found in areas where it was applied thick that it was a PITA to remove.

Wow. It's thicker than regular EX-P? I find EX-P to be very thick.

i had never really thought of ex-p to be thick. I'll pay closer attention to it next time. usually i just wipe it on by hand, and a few minutes later its dry so i wipe it back off. It goes on and off so easily I had never worried about it. Are you suggesting maybe I should let ex-p dry for 30 min before removing also? I've never noticed the wet areas on it, unless i don't put it on even enough.

Todd , thanks for the testing, Lee thanks for the pictures and help.

Actually the EX-P+ had an EXPerimental new ingredient added to it, it was a test sample thus no scent. Yes it was made a bit too thick and I had the opportunity to just ditch it and wait for another sample batch or just go for it.

I expected to hear about the thickness issue from some

The real differences in the EX-P's I have seen, are out in the sun....a bit more POP , wetness, and slickness too.

The new ingredient will be be first introduced in the new Wheel Sealant which is coming toward the end of testing....sorry don't expect it in EX-P or EX until sometime in the Spring. I'm sure we'll have a few more test samples in the near future for others to try, for right now we just wanted current EX-P (LSP) users opinions on the subtle diffferences.

Steve,

Thanks for sending out the samples to try. I really love the look of EX-P. No doubt the plus version is going to be even better...:up

Steve,

Thanks for your comments and thanks for sending a sample to Todd.

I think you have another winner on your hands. :xyxthumbs

P.S. I may be getting a Nikon D70 for Christmas so I will be able to capture the flake action even better soon. I used a mediocre 2MP Fuji camera for these shots and they just don't do Todd's work justice.

Awesome Awesome results!

I got the sample in late :( and I have been back in NY all week.

I hope to give it a shot next weekend :)

How come I haven't heard of this yet?[/mock indignation];) It looks amazingly wet, even in the sun! Definitely going to have to order some as soon as it is available. :)

SilverLexus,

That vehicle looks "outstanding"! Can't wait to try the new EX-P+ myself. Hope Steve sent you or Todd some of his new Wheel Sealant too............ excellent stuff! :xyxthumbs

Thanks for the compliments everyone...specially Sean & Scottwax - I admire your work greatly.

I look forward to buying EX-P+ or whatever it winds up being called when it hits the market...I'll continue to play with it and may try it topping VM with no regular EX-P in between on my front fenders.

Like Lee said, this product is a winner!

I've asked Steve for some wheel sealant but I have not heard back yet...A good wheel sealant will be very popular!
