I am following this thread as I really want to upgrade my polisher. I just need to stop buying products, and put my money towards one. Interesting to see opinions on the plethora of options now available.
Ron, why not just sell one Flex and buy a MarkII and the iBrid. That way you are well rounded in the DA polisher dept.
SIDE NOTE: That is if you don't necessarily have must have purpose for both 3401's.
Did you start this entire thread to lead up to how you're going to purchase that now?

Ron I'm kind of in the same boat as you. I just sold my slicks and had intended on buying the mark II but I just don't polish enough cars as it is right now. ( honestly I think I could use a Master Blaster more than a new polisher)No.... I hit the polisher page and saw it again..................
Are the new rupes smoother and quieter? Being I have a rupes 21, griots 21 and rupes 15. The only thing I want is either more power or more smoothness. So is the 15 mark II smoother or the 21 mark II more powerful then the griots?

The Nano for me was more of a guilty pleasure buy from xmas bonus money i planned on putting into my srt.
I keep waiting for someone to tell us they're shipping soon!
but........... but............ but...............
it's on sale now
I can't seethe second page
I do feel the MKII is more powerful then the BOSS now and it has a different "sound" to it. From my understanding the mechanicals of the MKII are the same as the original so I'm not sure why it feels smoother to some, but I didn't really notice it. It does run at a higher speed when comparing the same speed setting to the original so that could be why.
For some reason I bounced that idea over 7 years ago. But I'll be darned if I remember why...........
what ever happened to Festool?
It used to be billed as the best machine and now i can't even find one on line
Do you know if the Kamikaze plates fit the new polishers?
