1991 Audi 100CS with the original pearl paint. Menzerna FP (Euro version) and Poorboy's EX.

1995 Mercedes C280-about 35,000 actual miles on this car! Clearkote's Vanilla Moose and Poorboy's EX.

1998 Mercedes ML320. I used 1Z's Metallic Polish and Glanz Wax. Sorry there is only one pic, but I only had 3 shots left when I was detailing this and the Audi.

2003 Volvo S60. Again, Metallic Polish and Glanz Wax. Gives a very nice glow to light colors.

BTW, notice how nice and shiny my rear fender is in this pic on my own car (NXT x 2 and #16). ;)

Don't worry, more pics are coming, I just have to upload them!

2003 Cadillac Escalade ESV. Menzerna FP and Meguiars NXT Tech Wax.

There were some spider swirls in a repainted panel, just used the FP since they weren't as bad as they look. This is before and after-went back over again after I took the pic since some very minor swirling was still visible.

Finished side shot:

Whole vehicle shots:

This one was easy, just a QEW wash and Quikshine. A customer had borrowed it and had me wash it before her friend picked it up.

2003 Tundra. Menzerna FP and Poorboy's EX (can you tell I like this combo? ;) )

A couple of money shots:

Whole truck:

BTW, I had used Poorboy's EX on this Tundra (alone since the truck was new) in mid October and this polish and wax was on March 2 and the paint was still beading nicely and had moderate slickness.

Build date was 1997 on the ML's manufacturer tag. I just figured it was a '97. You are right about the Volvo though, I just looked at the full sized pic. S60. :doh

Hey Scott, are you using Menzerna FP by hand? I didn't think you used a PC or rotary at all. Very interested in your close-up swirl shots of the Escalade.

The Menzerna FP Scott is using is not the PO87 grey, mild polish, but the PO85U, non abrasive, silicone free FP. It's only available here (so far). It can be used by hand or PC.

Awesome work! The rear shot of the escalade is unbelievable! Where can I find menzerna and glanz at? Also, what kind of applicator did you use to apply FP to the escalade to remove the swirls and wax it, and what was used to remove it?

I VOTE SCOTT TO BE BANNED OFF AUTOPIA :angry :angry

:D because he makes our efforts pale in comparison! great work scott, as always

Great pics.

Scott I know you do everything by hand so I have to ask how long does it take you to do a vehicle like the Escalade? I am by no means a professional and I did a small detail of my dad's newer Camry this past weekend. I was use to working on my cars which are tiny in comparison. It took me forever. Just curious.

I didn't time myself when I was polishing and waxing the Escalade but probably 60-70 minutes for just the polishing and waxing. I can normally QEW wash a Suburban, vacuum, 2 step the paint (assuming no heavy polishing is needed), clean the windows in-n-out and dress the tires and fenderwells in about 2.5 hours, maybe 3 if I have any blemishes, swirls, ect to spot buff. When you do this every day for 10 years, you just get fast.

glanz is available at autopia store, menzerna used to be avail from CMA, probably others also.

The version of FP I have isn't available in America. Hopefully, jgv can point us to a website where we can order it and have it shipped here. Jose?
