New Paint

I am installing a Ram Air hood on my Car. I will be getting the hood painted in the next couple of weeks. How do I clean the hood with the new Paint? And When will I be able to Polish it?:nixweiss

Any how, you will need to ask the painter how long you show wait to wax and polish. They will know what is best for that kind of paint. Usaly I think it is about 30 days..
 
The Car is a 2002 Pontiac GTP/GTX. Blue-Black Metallic. I added a differant spoiler recently and I think I started Polishing it to soon. I have alot of scratches in the Clear coat that I am going to have to do something with. I think the paint and clear coat were to soft.
 
Yeah, I just paid the Deposit for the GTX stage 3 package. I have the GTX Chrome wheels and tires now, I am just waiting for SLP to ship everything to the local installation center and get this going. I saw your SS. Very Nice. What kind of Polish do you use?
