New P21S 100% Carnauba Wax $$$

What is this, a Zaino thread? P21S comes out with a new wax, and instead of any constructive discussion, most of what we have gotten is a bunch of static about how it can't be 100% carnauba. I think there are many threads where it has been discussed that no paste wax is 100% wax, because there are solvent carriers, etc., so can we just get past that and hear about the product and how it might compare to the original and other paste waxes instead of this other noise? No one has suggested that this new P21S product has any more or less carnauba than anyone's favorite paste, sheesh.

Charger17,in response to your post, can you name one '100%' Carnauba wax where the manufacturer 'got the formula right'.

Are you referring to the original P21S Canauba Paste Wax? Because this thread is about the new P21S 100% Carnauba Paste Wax.

Yes I was aware of the topic, as it is describing a new formulation of P21S; Yes I was referring to the current P21s wax.

It is not really s100...Neither is the original. Similar waxes, but when using both you can clearly see and feel the difference. The texture as well as the look is much different.

I absolutely love the look of the regular P21S and look forward to this one. By the way, Souveran is on sale.

Setec, your right. Most everyone on Autopia knows it can not be 100% by volume. But how about the other thousands of customers that don't have the knowledge? Hey I'm with Sottwax, if its as good as Souveran I may even put away the Vintage to give it a try. Bring it own!

^^^

Those are the same customers that think when a product says "once a year car polish" it means that. Avg joes are not buying P21S

You may be suprised. In this day of the internet and search functions, the avg. Joe can find product advertizing with a click.

100% carnbauba or not.. hell, even if theres gold flakes in it.. $45 for a 6 oz of wax? you guys will really pay that much for wax? I could get more than a gallon of my favorite wax for $45 and im happy with it.. doesnt matter how much better it'll looks, wax is only temporary!

I guess you haven't read about some of the higher end waxes some members are using:

Like Setec mentioned in post #2 of this thread, those waxes make this $45 wax seem like a dollar store version.

I dont think it is any more misleading than most other claims. How about companies that advertise up to ** months of durability. That could mean it has 1 week or ** months. Same thing, just advertising.

hehe, heres some more...

all-in-one = just one

removes swirls = hides temporary

removes 1500 sanding marks = only at speed 3000rpms/wool pad

no dusting = not as much dusting
