Well, if anyone is interested, i still have two free jars of N100 that i'll be happy to part with, on the condition that you apply it and post your results in Click & Brag. Please email me: [email protected]

I'd be more than happy to take one off your hands! How much do you want for shipping? Thanks!

Just joined Autopia not too long ago, first time seeing this interesting post and now very tempted to try something interesting. Just wondering has anyone here try mixing NXT with Zaino Z2 ? If these two can mix than it will be great, the look of NXT and the durability of Zaino.

A couple of years ago, Edwin was using BF and Z2/5 mixed. I LOVED the combo. Wondering if anyone thought about a bf/upp combo, a upp/zaino combo, or maybe a zaino bf combo again? Inputs would be appreciated.

How would you mix the sealants? would you still have to heat them up?

Can't fight the temptation to do a NXT/Zaino Z2 combo. I mixed 2 parts NXT to 1 part Z2 and the final product looks very much like NXT on 'ZFX'. The mixture looks thicker than NXT but still smell like NXT.

I applied this NZ combo to half the roof (which is the position I place the product) and half the hood. The other half of the hood is with #16. Can you tell the difference ?

Well the left half is with #16 and the right half is with NZ combo. Immediately after putting on the first layer you can't really tell the difference but after 1 day, I can see that the side with NZ combo looks more glossy (more to Zaino kind of shine) and also deeper & clearer reflection. Than I decided to put a second coat of #16 and NZ combo to the hood again. But 4 hours after I complete with the second coat it started raining, there goes my effort if the NZ combo needs a cure time of 12 hrs  . But I thought I can take a pic of the water beading effect and here it is,

#16 and Z2 is well known for water beading but not NXT, but from the pic you can't really tell there is any difference and it seems like the NZ combo has taken the effect of the Z2 water beading property.

Then on the 3rd day, I can really see a difference on hood. It looks much better on the NZ combo side (IMO), The reflection looks very sharp, the paint looks deeper and wetter as compare to the #16 side. I have used Z2 and NXT individually but somehow I prefer the NZ combo effect and as for the durabilty, I am not so concern because I wax my car at least once a month. Now my whole hood is with NZ combo. I tried to take some photos on the 3rd day, but you can't really tell the difference from the photo. Just sharing my experience so please do not flame me if you are a Zaino or NXT die hard fan. :D :p

Just to follow up on my post ( a few pages back )..........I tried my special concoction " Serwaxalots Waxapalooza" on the nose & tailgate of the BlkTac, today. I used a gray foam applicator, the "handi-grip" type. What was interesting about it was how quickly the wax softened as I was rubbing the foam app against it in the tin. It fully coated the foam app with ease. The spread rate was amazing. After loading up the foam app, just once, I was able to cover the entire tailgate & nose of my Tacoma. I did my usual.........worked it in as much as possible before removing with my trusty Concours Buffing Towel. The removal of my "SerWax" was somewhere between the effortless Souveran/ P21S & Meg's #26 Paste. In other words.......Not quite as easy as removing the Souveran or P21S ( both practically fall of the paint on their own ) yet not as difficult as removing #26. ( which I don't find all that difficult ). I noticed it did seam to dry white on the edge of my bedliner, which I easily wiped away. "SerWax" felt quite slick........Apearance was deep , glossy & wet. It looks promising. Next week, i'll do the whole truck with it & hope it rains just to see what happens. For now, the concotion of Meg's #26 Paste, P21S,Gold Class Paste, Excite Paste,Blitz,#7 & a squirt or 2 of Wolfgang seems quite impressive, initially. for my next experiment I'm going to combine the Butter Wet Wax with the liquid #26 & perhaps a splash & dash of Wolfgang & #7. Stay tuned!!!

I finally got in on this mutant wax creation craze...

My mutant is a 1:3 mix of Paste Glaz, Blue Nattys, and Meg's #16. Before you ask...yes, that is a tuna can that I mixed it in. It was the perfect size, so I washed it out very thoroughly and started my creation...

So to test it out, I washed/RMG'd my mom's '95 Concorde, and then added some NattyGlaz16. It spread quite easily, but it didn't like being left on too long. It was being quite stubborn when I tried to remove it. If I removed it after each panel or two, it came off very easily.

The finish is now very slick, much like that of Paste Glaz by itself.
