New Optimum Products

My mom had her deck treated with wolmans deck sealer last weekend. While it was being treated she had accidentally left the garage door open. Now her black Trans Am has little white spots all over it. It was waxed the day before with Meguiars wax. So far I have tried Meguiars paint cleaner, Meguiars bug and tar remover, and a Meguiars clay bar. Nothing has helped me at all.

I have also sent an email to the company that makes the deck sealer to find out what is in it. And to see if maybe this has been asked to them in the past.

Does anyone have any Idea what else we can try?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks

Get a can of mineral spiriits and soak the spots with a rag. Should removce them and , if i remember corectly, wont damage the paint.

It's just a method of applying the polish, not a WOWA product. Should be MUCH easier to get it on the paint and pad evenly without drawing all the little X and O patterns. I think it's a great idea.

I don't see any current method of applying a polish to a pad as a big time time wasting effort. IMO the true benefit of this compound will be if it cuts as good or better then M105, while leaving as good as or a better finish. If it can do that and pass a 5x staight IPA wipedowns, they might be on to something.

I was never impressed with any of the Optimum compounds or polishes in the past, so IF this really works, I would be very impressed. Time will tell.

[For those wanting a comparison in terms of cut, the Hyper Compound is on a par with Megs 105 with less dust and better surface finish. The Hyper Polish can be compared to Menzerna Power Finish] AnthonyO

As soon as I can my hands on some of the new OHC, I'm going to try it via the KBM on a G110v2. Also interested if it will work with the surbuf pads and a r/o.
