Here are some updated pics with my spring mods. I've now got the disease "fundsarelow" so things will stay as they are for a while. I was at a car cruise at Captree this morning, so I thought I would post a few while she was cleaned up.

New Mods:
GHL Catback
Chrome Rims
Custom laser etched caps and covers
Painted Hoodliner

PB SSS Wash
OCW
PB Wheel Sealant on the new wheels, and Underhood Custom Etched Chrome
Z5 on Painted Fuel Rail Covers

Nice looking vehicle you have there. I'd lose that saying on the mirror if you can. IMO it looks kinda tacky on such a nice car.

Looks real nice.

If anyone can appreciate any Mods the cost and labor involved i would say Richard would be the one just look at his truck and all the work that was completed by him..

nice. are the valve covers painted to match from the factory?

BTW, those CHrome wheels are pretty rare right now. THe company who was in charge of making them tanked and now the option for the chrome wheels is no longer viable. Make sure you keep them clean!

Personally, I think chrome wheels are the work of the devil, but if you like them, more power to you.

As much as I can't stand most American cars, the Vette is one I'd consider for one reason only, Le Mans :) They're really doing a great job building some new history of American racing abroad.

Thanks for all the compliments. I chuckle myself everytime I look in the mirror!

No, they are black from the factory. The painted ones can be purchased from GM ( as I did) or from some aftermarket companies.

The wheels are freely available. The ones you are referring to are the stock wheels made by a company called Amcast, who is a supplier or GM. The did file for bankrupcy, which temporarily caused GM to put all wheels, except for stock painted rims on constraint. Thats why I had to add them after I got the Vette home. Currently you can order either polished or chromed wheels from GM, but they are only the 5 spoke design, and the price is sky high. The company that makes these is a huge aftermarket manufacturer. Thats how I was able to get the 10 spoke Z06 style chrome for half the price of the 5 spoke from GM. This car is a summer fun car anyway.

As with my old Mach 1, I'll probably wind up cleaning it more than I drive it!

Thanks!

The exhaust is awesome, its made by a custom exhaust shop called GHL. Really nice, big 4" tubes, entire system is high polished stainless steel, and it's deep and throaty. The car was way too quiet from the factory, now it sounds like an old 455 SD TransAm. Let me know when you're home Sean, I'll swing by and take you for a ride.
