Hi all,



New member to the site. I'm actually an employee of Turtle Wax. I am here to learn about new products in the market and why members of this forum like or dislike them. My primary purpose is to learn from you all so that we can make our products better. Thanks

I think it's great that you are taking interest in our opinions.



I think the liquid claybar is AMAZING for removal of oxidation and for stripping LSPs, but the name is quite deceiving as it accomplishes nothing a claybar does. I suppose you guys realized this when you started including it in a kit with a real claybar.



To be honest, I do not like most of your other products that I have tried- wheel cleaners, assorted waxes, etc.



I think the black box is marketed great as there are so many people out their with black cars who think they need special treatment. I'm assuming, however, that the wax contains black fillers for a very short-lived extra wow factor- but products like these make me doubt the seriousness of your company.



Also, no real polishes?
 
Sorry if I misread your original post- are you looking for information about your own products or new products other companies are offering?



If the latter- rinseless washes are going to be big.
 
I second that on no real polishes, nothing to speak about anyway. And I also don't like the way you all market waxes to customers like there going to correct defects and thats all you need to make your car shine, but your not alone in that catagory. There are a few good products I've heard about, and you guys do have some innovative ideas. Just my 2 cents and honest answer.
