New member here, just thought I would say hi, only have 1 pic right now. It was just after my first experience with a clay bar and some paint polish.

It's 1995 Aurora...

edit: found a better pic

Looks great. I love the Aurora's engine. They sound like a a Indy Car when you put a nice quality performance exhaust system on them. Maybe thats why Shelby used them for his Series 1? Heh

Great pics

I have actually been looking for a new exhaust system for it, but I don't want anything that will make it sound like a lawn mower, or muscle car...maybe a deeper tone to it.

Caddyman, the baby NorthStar is great, not quite the real thing but close, I have a chip in it so I'm getting closer to the power of the actual North Star but I don't think I'm quite there.

try caddyinfo.com on that site is a lot for cad northstars, but there are things there for you too! It has a wealth of information

It would be great to modify the air box on the Aurora, but from the sounds of things, I don't think it's a garage project, I have a general idea of what he is talking about, as far as what to cut...the problem is getting to it. I have been looking for close to a year for some modifications for it, to give her some extra pep, just can't find anything, besides the chip I got put in.

Surprisingly the chip added +20hp and +30torque...worth the money.

I'd hate to keep bothering you to do my footwork but, do you know who I can talk to about converting to the cone filter on the Aurora if possible????

You are the man, thanks for all the help.

But before I can do anything like that I need to take care of 2 problems...cracked shift solenoid, and something is wrong with my cams:mad:

Right now I'm not even sure if it is the cam's. But when the car is cold I'm getting a buzzing/whining sound coming from the engine at about the same time the cams start firing. Once the car warms up it's fine, the whining goes away. This started about 3 days ago.

post on the caddyinfo message borad, the comtempoary cadillac one. Ppl will tell you what is wrong there, n how to fix it!
