Well I finally got a chance to pick up most of the new retail brushes that Meg's offers from my distributor today. I must say I was really pleased at the price of the brushes. I will get a chance to sample them over te next couple days and report back my findings.

I also picked up this spray clay thought it might be interesting to try, has anyone used it?

Interesting assortment of tools there. Looks nice. What is "Aero-Clay" ? Never heard of that one before.

BTW- What is the location of the distrubutor you go to?

I've been waiting for those brushes to become available you must be special to get them already:bow did your distributer say when you can get them online from Meg.

Seriouisly, tho...Meg's has priced all that new stuff in the brush line, including the new MF's and pads, etc. very aggressively. Let us know how the quality is.

I used prototypes of these brushes at Meguiar's along with some of the towels and I must say that they are quite good. The cotton towel is as soft as a MF towel. The body brushes didn't do any marring to the cars that were washed with them. The brush that I most look forward to is the Ultra-Safe Wheel Brush. It's flexible and fits in the nooks and crannies and will clean all the way to the back of the wheel.

Yeah I got the spoke brush, I hope it holds up, most the time when you get a flexible brush it ends of losing its stifness.

OOOOOooo! I want those brushes badly. Please let us know how they turn out. How much did that total up to?

I wish the distributor in Memphis would get them. I tried to buy them online, but was told they would not be available until early March. :nixweiss

I guess since we live near the warehouse we see everything first. Is your distributor a PBE or an individual rep/distributor?

Do you know if the brushes are staple backed, or glued?

If you go to SMArnold's website you can see brushes by retail or professional and on one of the pages is a brush chart which shows the make up of different brushes by bristles- nylex, horsehair, etc. Pretty cool when selecting brushes for different uses.

Those yellow scrubbers are cool. Mine is 3x5 inches and works great in the kitchen and on glass- soak it for a while and it becomes really soft, but cleans well.
