New Logo

I've been trying to come up with a logo that I could use on shirts and stuff like that. I'm tired of not having one. I think that this says everything that OCDetails is about. What do you think?

I like the look as well. Just a thought, do you have another "P" you could use...Products, Process, Patience....'Perfection'? I think by having another loop in the bottom left corner will give the logo symmetry and a balanced weight.

Looks good... my opinion differs from Rolex's (sorry!) about the symetry and balance. IMO having it off balance, so to speak, is a catchier image. I do like his recommendation about using the term "Perfection" though.

The brushed metallic look, although it is a modern look, isn't something you see in the business, at least not on cars, right? Wonder what it would look like if it were a shiny, glossy, wet silver, maybe with some reflections. Like a perfectly detailed silver BMR!

26 = The number of letters that are in this logo now if you count the 3 P's.

Shrink it down, put it on a business card and see if your potential customers will be able to read it. Will it be easy to read or very busy with alot of tiny, hard to read letters?

If you put another "P" going the same way as the Other "p's" (same pattern) It will make a Swastika...
LOL...I have too much time

Thanks for the feedback!

I thought about using 4 ps, but I didn't like the way it looked. It stopped looking like Ps and looked more like a symbol that belongs on a lamp shade from 1973 or something.

I scanned one of my business cards to get the right size and then plopped the logo on it. Even as small as 1.5 inches across you can still read the text just fine when I printed it, so I'm not too worried. I need to do the logo over again anyway a little bigger. I created it smaller than I thought I did and I want a really big copy of it.

The logo could be treated with different effects depending on what I use it on. I used the brushed aluminum look because it seemed to work well on both light and dark backgrounds. I could experiment with different looks though. Chrome is a little tricky, but how about this?

The interesting thing is that depending on what font I use on the text, you can see OCD in it.

process
products
patience

It doesn't really work with the Porsche font, but I thought it was funny.

Looks great but it does look like the "Apple" symbol on my iMac keyboard (not a bad thing).

The P-P-P slogan is terrific. :)

That's why I didn't like this design.

It looks like that mac button on the bottom.
