New here... why did I have to find this forum?

Hey all. Obviously, I'm new here. Not so sure I'm happy to be here though. I'm going to spending ALOT of time on this forum reading about, and searching for products, tips, tricks and experiences. After driving a car that I wasn't OCD over for 8 years, I finally got a new one that I will be obsessing over, so here I am. I've been detailing my own cars for about 10 years now, mostly by trial and error and using products you'd find at the local parts store. :dunno I'll probably ask some newb qustions, but I promise to search first. ;)

Jared, LOL. No drudgery for me. Actually I'm sure my neighbors would think otherwise. Really though, I actually enjoy doing this stuff. That's why I know I'm in trouble for having found this place. I must've put 50 topics in the search function already. The more stuff I read, the more questions I think to ask. :drool

jaybs95, my new baby is a 2005 World Rally Blue WRX. I've wanted one since before they came to the US. From what I've heard though, the paint on these things is how shall we say? Crap.
 
CARTfan: Keep the turbo spooled up and you will forget all about crappy paint.:D
It will also make it very difficult for anyone else to notice crappy paint.

Boost is good.:)

Yeah, I love that thing. I'm still pussyfooting around in it though. It's only got 850 miles on it and it's not that fast yet... I still need to get a handle on the clutch. :shift I have Yugos beating leaving me in the dust at green lights. :boohoo
